Posted on Thu Jan 3rd, 2019 @ 2:37pm by Captain Audrid Kane in Sim Announcement

Hey all,

A bit late due to my own drawn out celebrations ( :P ), but I'd like to take this chance to wish all of you a happy 2019. I look forward to a great year with all of you and to take the Scorpio to great heights. We will continue our relatively lower rate of posting until after the weekend so all of you can come back from the Holidays steadily. On Monday I will be pushing the story further along. :)

Hey all,

In an ongoing quest to improve Task Force 9 for all members the Task Force Senior Staff has launched a survey to measure how people feel about the Task Force and where they would like to see improvements. The form will be open until January the 10th and all responses are anonymous. You can find the survey at . I would appreciate it if all of you could respond, it should not take more than five minutes. :)

Posted on Tue Dec 4th, 2018 @ 6:28pm by Captain Audrid Kane in Sim Announcement

Hey all,

Due to server maintenance, the Scorpio website will be down at some point on the night from Saturday the 8th to Sunday the 9th GMT. Maintenance should take no more than a few hours and as no DNS changes are involved it will be back at the same time for everyone.

» Implementation of GDPR

Posted on Sun May 27th, 2018 @ 8:14pm by Captain Alice Griffin in General News

Hey All,

As many of you have seen a new law went into effect within the European Union last Friday that significantly expands the control persons have over their data. As the USS Scorpio is both hosted within the European Union and services residents of the European Union I have taken the steps to bring us into full compliance. As such we have implemented wide-ranging privacy policies. These can be found at and bring us into compliance with not just the European laws but also those of most democracies such as Canada and the United States.

It is now also possible for a user to delete their account when resigning from the Scorpio. I have already deleted all user accounts that were placed on an inactive state before.

While the law is aimed at Europeans, I have taken the step to implement its safeguards for all our users.

Personal Log, Lieutenant Commander Winthorpe.

Well, it seems I was a bit too overzealous in my assumption that we'd be sitting ducks upon exiting the nebula. A trap? Doesn't seem that way now. But why can't I shake the feeling that we are in danger, and not just the slip…
